- Independent review of the regulatory oversight of the NSW racing industry - The Minister for Gaming and Racing has requested Malcolm Scott to conduct an independent review of the regulatory oversight of the NSW racing industry.
- Statutory review of the Greyhound Racing Act 2002 and Harness Racing Act 2002 - The legislation requires the Minister for Gaming and Racing to review the policy objectives and terms of the Acts.
- Independent review of wagering in NSW - The Minister for Gaming and Racing to undertake an independent review of wagering in NSW.
- Proposed Lotteries and Art Unions Regulation 2007 - The NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing proposes to make the Lotteries and Art Unions Regulation 2007.
- Proposed Public Lotteries Regulation 2007 - Pursuant to the provisions of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989, the Public Lotteries Regulation 2002 is scheduled for repeal on 1 September 2007.
- Review of the Gaming Machine Tax Act 2001 - The Treasurer and the Minister for Gaming and Racing are jointly reviewing the Gaming Machine Tax Act 2001 as required by section 26 of the Act.
- Statutory review of the Gaming Machines Act 2001 - The Gaming Machines Act 2001 requires a review of the policy objectives of the Act and the terms of the Act after five years. A report on the outcome of the review is to be tabled in Parliament prior to 19 December 2007.
- Independent Review Report of NSW Thoroughbred Racing Act 1996 - The Independent Review Report into the thoroughbred racing industry, carried out by Ken Brown AM, has been released for industry consultation.
- Thoroughbred Racing Amendment Bill 2008 (PDF 446kb) - Comments have now closed.
- Regulatory Impact Statements - Proposed Racing Administration Regulation 2005 and Totalizator Regulation 2005
Pursuant to the provisions of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989, the Racing Administration Regulation 1999 and Totalizator Regulation 1998 are scheduled for repeal on 1 September 2005. - National Competition Policy Review of NSW Racing and Betting Legislation
On 3 December 2001 Cabinet approved of the findings and recommendations of the National Competition Policy (NCP) review of NSW Racing and Betting legislation. - Review of the Unlawful Gambling Act 1998, the Gambling (Two-up) Act 1998 and the Racing Administration Act 1998
