The NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing is responsible for the regulation and balanced development, in the community interest, of the gaming, racing, liquor and charity industries in New South Wales.

In 2005, as part our corporate planning activities we identified four key result areas that are critical to achieve our mission:
- industry integrity - industries that meet community expectations and regulatory standards.
- industry sustainability - industries that are in balance with community interests
- responsible practices - minimisation of liquor and gambling related harm and promotion of responsible conduct
